asvg respects the intellectual property rights of others. This policy explains how copyright owners may ask us to remove or disable access to material they believe infringes their rights, and how affected parties may respond.
This process applies to copyright claims. It is not the appropriate process for trademark, privacy, or general catalog corrections; please send those concerns through our contact page.
Submit a copyright takedown notice
If you are a copyright owner, or authorized to act on one’s behalf, send a written notice containing all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. For multiple works on the site, you may provide a representative list.
- Identification of the material you want removed or disabled, including the exact asvg URL and enough information for us to locate it.
- Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
Send the notice by email to contact@asvg.app with the subject DMCA takedown notice. Including the relevant asset name, variant, and page URL helps us investigate promptly.
What happens after we receive a notice
We review notices for completeness and may ask for additional information. When appropriate, we may remove or disable access to the identified material and notify the party that supplied it. We may share the notice, including the claimant’s contact information, when reasonably necessary to process the claim or as required by law.
We may terminate access for repeat infringers where the circumstances warrant it. Because asvg is primarily a public asset catalog without user accounts, the action available to us will usually be removal or disabling of the affected material.
Submit a counter-notification
If material you supplied was removed or disabled because of a copyright notice and you believe that action resulted from mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate United States federal district court under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or that person’s agent.
Send the counter-notification to contact@asvg.app with the subject DMCA counter-notification. We may forward it to the original claimant. Where the law permits, we may restore the material after the statutory waiting period unless we receive notice that the claimant has filed an action seeking a court order.
Accuracy and misuse
Notices and counter-notifications are legal communications. Knowingly making a material misrepresentation about infringement or removal may create liability under applicable law. Consider obtaining legal advice before submitting a notice if you are unsure whether the material is protected by copyright or whether an exception applies.
